The Ivy Halter Neck Top
Bold by design. Rooted in history.
The halter neck has always belonged to the confident woman. First emerging in the 1930s through eveningwear inspired by the elegant lines of the Asian cheongsam, it moved effortlessly through the decades — a swimwear staple of the 1940s immortalised by Hollywood icons, a free-spirited statement of the 1960s, and a defining silhouette of the 1990s. Few styles carry that kind of legacy.
The Ivy reimagines it for now and is named after our first granddaughter.
An exaggerated statement collar — originally known as the tapered collar, and later made famous by actor John Barrymore in the 1970s — brings a striking heritage tailoring edge to a silhouette built for modern femininity. An extended adjustable tie finishes in a dramatic bow at the back, turning every exit into a moment.
The softly shirred back offers comfort and ease across the bust, while three antique-inspired buttons and a full zip closure ensure a fit that feels as considered as it looks.
Crafted from super-limited deadstock 100% recycled linen — exceptionally soft yet beautifully structured. When this fabric is gone, it's gone.
This is fashion history, dressed for the present.
